At this upcoming weekend’s Governors Ball, Depop is hosting a pop-up at the New York music festival.
As an official festival partner, the company is hosting a multilevel onsite lounge, including artificial intelligence-powered virtual try-ons and subway takeovers all over the city.
At the Depop Lounge, the activation will include the Depop Closet, a selection of pieces from the marketplace to bring the app’s inventory in person; customization stations with live airbrushing on bandanas and tooth gem applications; a Depop dollar grab for consumers to win a piece sourced from the app; AI virtual try-ons with a mirror experience for ease of shop and discovery and more.
Friday will also see Depop’s trend spokesperson, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, on site at Governors Ball reporting on festival fashion and doing style content for the brand.
