Cynthia Erivo was decked out in Vivienne Westwood from head to toe when attending the Variety 2026 Power of Women event in London, which was presented by Lifetime and held at The Chancery Rosewood on Wednesday. As expected, the actress arrived in a sky-high pair of heels that are a signature element of her red carpet style.
The “Wicked” star arrived in a blue-and-brown tartan ensemble featuring a structured, draped jacket with ruffled lapels and a matching draped skirt. The look was custom-made for her by Vivienne Westwood.

It was only right that she completed the look with a pair of the brand’s extravagant high heels. The shoes feature a lace-up, ankle-boot design and are balanced atop an extremely high platform and a block heel. They feature a round toe silhouette and some strap details around the ankles.
Like the singer’s pair, Westwood’s platform boots are often characterized by their extreme and historically inspired 10-inch heels and lace-up design. Styles like the elevated ghillies have become one of the brand’s signature designs.
The designs fit right in with the Oscar nominee’s penchant for lofty and impossibly tall high heels. Erivo’s shoes for the Variety event were from the fashion house’s fall 2023 collection, which was the first collection Andreas Kronthaler presented for the brand after his wife Vivienne died in 2022.
Kronthaler, who was a longtime collaborator and creative director for the brand, unveiled the brand’s fall 2023 collection during Paris Fashion Week as a tribute to his late wife and featured her face on some garments as well as the towering heels that have become synonymous with the designer.
Erivo was one of many stars to land on the red carpet at Wednesday’s Variety 2026 Power of Women London event, which marked the first time the publication has hosted the event in the British city.
